POP ACCOMPANIMENT PATTERNS FOR THE LEFT HAND

Want to get started playing your favorite pop tunes but not sure where? Here’s an easy-to-play yet effective left hand accompaniment pattern that you can use to get started jamming out your favorite tunes!

The pattern starts from the root of the chord, then goes up to the fifth, and then up to the root, back down to the fifth, up to the third, back down to the fifth, and up to the root and finally down to the fifth. Here’s the same pattern applied to a few more chords:
